How do you feel about the curriculum and education you're receiving?
"It's SO helpful. I feel SO much more confident about what I'm doing, which has absolutely impacted the way I show up with my copywriting clients. It has been the ultimate comfort to be able to text you and be like: "how the hell do I navigate this/write this/do this?"
I also feel like I've learned to be firmer in what I'm interested in doing and not just desperately appealing to everyone or believing I have to offer services I'm not interested in."

"Definitely how to set up a client experience; I went from knowing absolutely nothing to being fully prepared.
When you're brand new, you're looking at other copywriters' websites, and you're seeing what they offer, wondering what in the world that looks like and how exactly to grasp what's standard for your industry.

Why did you invest in a mentor?
"I decided to invest in a mentor because I felt like I didn't have someone to turn to or to ask questions when something came up for me like a "normal" job. I was previously a teacher and always had a ton of people around, and working for myself/trying to build something from absolutely nothing has been a lot! Having the chance to talk, ask questions, build connections, etc. has been amazing, and I'm so glad that I did it.
Not only that, but I do feel like I've learned so much that I can apply to my business and with consistency and perseverance I think I'm much better equipped to get to where I want to be."

"Definitely helpful! I feel like one of the most valuable parts of the mentorship is the opportunity to ask literally any question that comes up because you don't know what you don't know. So there were things I asked about that had never occurred to me previously."
What are some things you've been able to accomplish with my guidance?
"Speaking to clients with confidence! Navigating client challenges and not being too hard on myself. Creating a client process that feels streamlined and makes sense. Raising my prices! I've also booked the most clients on my own since I've started the mentorship (not a ton, but I had 3 in 3 months, which I think is pretty great for me!). Now just to get more inquiries!"

I've chosen to combine my GROUP mentorship program (that I taught for 4 years) with my 1:1 mentorship offer, so I could support fewer students in a deeper capacity. I find mentorship works best when you have someone to answer to (hi, me!) and that person checks in with you via Zoom call REGULARLY. But I *also* know that having a group is extremely motivating — and sometimes people ask questions you don't even think to ask!
So, in Next Chapter, you *are* getting 1:1 mentorship — that's the whole point! — but you're ALSO getting access to a monthly group session where we'll learn about a specific topic, as well as regular co-working sessions, and a group chat.
